Softball at the Top Colleges

Softball is a popular sport for women among the highly selective colleges. Overall, 49 of the 61 highly selective colleges have women’s volleyball teams, with a total of 916 players across all the colleges.

Of the 49 colleges with women’s volleyball teams, 24 of them belong in Division 1 with 497 players and 25 of them belong in Division 3 with 419 players, totaling 916 players together in the 2021/2022 season.
